Rubber Band Racer

My project started off with a tear drop shaped base. I only used three wheels for my car so that it would go faster. My axle is in the back of the car which will be wrapped around with a rubber band. The rubber band will generate momentum for the car to move. I used The hot glue gun, X-acto knife, constitution paper, Cardboard, wood, CD's, and metal sticks. I measured how far my Car would go and it ended up moving 105 inches. I am very proud of my design and how far my car went. It was very difficult figuring out where to place everything and how everything would work but in the end the whole thing was a success. 

I was feeling the Christmas spirit so i made it all decked out in Christmas decorations. Since my racer is Christmas themed it is decked out with trees, presents,candy canes, and ornaments.

The journey making this car was very eventful. I spelled Christmas wrong, Made a glove out of hot glue, Burnt myself, and watched Abby and Madelyn have multiple break downs. Overall My car moved further then i expected and is very festive! Happy Holidays
